The work of Mani Nejad taps into diverse sources nodding to his international background. He received his academic training in Munich/ Germany, spent several years in New York and Los Angeles and is currently living and working in Berlin and Paris.

Mani Nejad studied visual arts at the Academy of Fine Arts, Munich as well as social science and philosophy at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität, Munich – following an early interest in classic themes and their translation into a modern narrative. Key aspects of his formative academic years set him on a lifelong trajectory into art that ist characterized by a hybrid style of figuration and abstraction speaking a visual language of motion and dynamic gesture.

Mani Nejad has been presenting his works in solo and group exhibitions as well as in art fair participations in Europe, the U.S. and Canada. His works form part of a number of private collections.
